Great benefits; Opportunities to advance, regardless of experience or qualifications; Working towards a more diverse workfield; Great if you are female trying to apply right now. Union! Do nothing and still get paid without the fear of being let go!
Cons
Not so good if you are male trying to apply, as they seem to be discriminating against male applicants in the process of evening out the labor force. (Sure, it's a little male dominated, but maybe there are just more males who want the job.)
