Pros
The company recently obtained the number one position on the World's Most Admired Company list and it is a fiscally responsible organization, dedicated to maintaining private ownership.
Cons
Despite the highly touted introduction of "Executive Development" and "Diversity and Inclusion" programs, the company is not a good choice for entry or mid-level employees (read, non-executive). Anyone who expresses any desire or initiative to grow in their role is told "if you want to make more money, you'll have to go to another company" and "be happy you have a job right now" even though it's the dedication, loyalty, and hard work of lower level employees that has made the company what it is. Very demoralizing place to be right now. Very few employees are given the opportunity to be on a career track, no matter the talent, creativity or initiative displayed.
