NAF cares about their employees, thinks of the future, and does what’s necessary to equip employees with the knowledge and tools needed to stay in front of partners and clients.

Cons

I’m really trying to think here and I can’t. Although leaders are busy, they’re still available even for a national company.

NAF used to be a great company. USED TO BE.

Cons

1. Limited communication from management: Employees often lack visibility into the company’s long-term strategy, priorities, and future direction, making it difficult to align their work with organizational goals. 2. Misleading narrative around AI adoption and layoffs: Leadership suggested that some employees were let go because they were resistant to AI adoption or unwilling to adapt to emerging technologies. However, this explanation was not consistent with what many employees observed. Some of those affected were actively engaged with AI technologies, including leaders and colleagues who were using AI tools or building AI-related projects outside of work. As a result, the stated rationale appeared disconnected from reality and negatively impacted trust in leadership communications. 3. Lack of strategic vision and prioritization: IT leadership tends to operate in a reactive, day-to-day mode where nearly every initiative is treated as a Priority 1. This results in constant context switching, unclear priorities, and reduced execution effectiveness. 4. Limited technical leadership at the decision-making level: Many key technology decisions are made by leaders with limited hands-on experience designing, building, or delivering complex technical solutions. This often leads to unrealistic expectations, ineffective planning, and projects that struggle to achieve their intended outcomes
