Staff are great. Team spirit to help each other is fantastic.
Cons
No communication from owners to staff, absolutely none! Micro management practices. No spend on essential upgrades. Department heads purchasing essential items out of their own pocket. Missing stock paid out of tips. Walkouts paid by staff member responsible for desk booking. Minimal staff, workloads exceeded, excess work hours not paid. Safety not considered. Staff retention abysmal. Overall an extremely difficult stressful environment to work in. Everything negative is solely attributed to the owners. The Nevilles are shrewd cold business operators when it comes to the bottom line. This is their ultimate goal, nothing else. They are builders / developers / accountants by trade. They are not hoteliers or hospitality trained. Minimum wage standard. Zero hour contracts.
