Pros
Work environment was good. Ping pong table. Free snacks, drinks, and coffee. Coworkers were great. Rarely did I have to work outside the typical work week. They offer health/dental insurance at no cost although it isn't very good. 10 days PTO. 401K matching.
Cons
Pay was bad! Base salaries are very low compared to industry averages. The offer significant bonuses, but they designed to lock you into your job. The way it worked for me was I received a bonus after working for a year, yet I had to complete an additional year or else I would have to repay it. Work two years for a bonus? When I decided to resign I was instructed to repay it. The bonus was taxed, so I had only received a portion of it. The company instructed to repay the full amount. This means I had to dig into my own pocket to repay the tax portion which luckily I had. I am now out a significant amount of money until next tax season. They refused to offer a payment plan or any sort of assistance for repayment. They have effectively set up a system where you may not be able to afforded to quit. Overall, I never really felt appreciated or valued at the company in many aspects more than just salary.
