Pros
Great work/life balance. Great people below upper management level (anything non-VP or "officer"). Some VP level people are good though.
Cons
A few series of layoffs in the past has poisoned the culture. First round of layoffs: configuration analysts to hire more engineers/product Second round of layoffs: engineers/product to hire more sales Perhaps the next round of layoffs will be sales to hire more configuration analysts! This is all due to upper management's poor decisions and laziness. The "officer" level people are truly incompetent and make horrible decisions and barely ever work. VP or higher level people ("upper management") make up about 25% of the company. I feel like everyone is upper management and there aren't enough people who actually do work. I honestly have no idea what my manager's boss (VP level) did at the company. Lastly, the company is not doing well at all. The company size has halved in the last 2 years. Also, pay is low, but that's offset by the great work/life balance in my opinion.
