The HR Manager lacked the leadership, empathy, and people skills expected from someone responsible for managing employees. As a female leader in a people-centered role, I had hoped to experience a more compassionate and supportive approach, but unfortunately that was not the case. Team members were expected to perform independently but were not always given the guidance and support needed to succeed. Rather than feeling developed and motivated, employees often felt criticized, discouraged, and undervalued. There was a noticeable gap between the company’s core value of “malasakit” and the actual employee experience. The workplace could have been much better if employees felt genuinely supported, respected, and encouraged to grow. Unfortunately, the high attrition rate reflects the challenges many employees experienced under the current leadership. Despite the company requiring employees to serve a bond, retention remains a significant issue, with very few employees choosing to stay long-term once their obligations are fulfilled.

There appears to be a significant gap between what is promised and what is actually delivered. Client satisfaction does not seem to be a genuine priority, and the overall direction of the company appears to be driven primarily by profit rather than a commitment to quality service or meaningful client relationships.

Employee turnover within the company is notably high, which may reflect deeper issues within the workplace culture and management. The employment contracts include bond clauses that appear unreasonable and may raise questions about their legality. Upon separation, the company withholds the final two months of compensation, creating significant financial strain on departing employees. The sales department in particular experiences a consistently high attrition rate, suggesting a challenging and potentially unsustainable work environment for sales professionals. Additionally, legitimate business expenses incurred during client engagements are not reimbursed, leaving employees to absorb costs that are typically covered by the employer.
