Pros

- Helpful teammates - Good exposure to network security products - The company offers decent benefits and opportunities to learn.

Cons

- HIGH turnover rate for this position !! - Micromanaged to the point of correcting every small thing - No clear guidance - Lack of empathy or understanding when team members face challenges. - Low morale due to lack of trust, support, and respect - Favouritism is obvious ; some get away with mistakes, others are blamed - Communication between team lead and team members is weak - Weekly presentations feel more like pressure than learning — required to present every single case, which is time-consuming

Pros

Chance to take some ownership to a limited extent & Opportunities to identify organizational gaps

Cons

1. Compensation below industry standards – Pay and benefits fell short of market benchmarks 2. Misaligned leadership structure – Certain HODs were overseeing functions/department they had no relevant experience in. This created HR policies that were poorly thought out, outdated, impractical, and damaging to productivity 3. Siloed and clique‑driven culture – Teams operated in tight social circles, making it difficult for new hires — even those with experience — to integrate. Collaboration was minimal, and help was not readily offered 4. HR policies not formalized or consistently applied 5. Low professional standards in HR – Colleagues did not know how to use systems, had no professional certifications, and showed little initiative for upskilling or modernizing HR practices. 6. Growth mindset largely absent – The culture leaned toward maintaining the status quo. Long‑tenured staff often resisted changes that could improve efficiency or employee experience.

Pros

Perhaps only the medical benefits.

Cons

A workplace where senior managers make employees justify their salary/value in front of colleagues creates unnecessary pressure and damages team morale. Is there really a need for such public justification? Perhaps the stronger medical benefits are necessary given the stress caused by the management culture.
