Pros
Many smart people, very open to ideas. Willing to banter about ideas. Some good experiences at the water cooler talking about projects. There's always something interesting happening. The product is supreme. It really is. But it's limited and there's much good work to be done building out the feature-set - happening at lightening speed. Very energetic. Very "exciting" which is not the cliche term it could be. They're for real.
Cons
Development can be a bit chaotic as forces work themselves but all small companies pivot on a dime.
