Pros

You worked independently. Good training from outside sources.

Cons

Your thrown to the wolf's right away at least in Apex Nc ,no one is the office had good experience you gwt lot green ppl that mean guys that don't even know how to use drill. Much less read a map or blue print ,then you have to do mostly all the work your self while training your co workers an trying to met deadlines. This is almost impossible with un experience coworker an the guys that are worth anything g are also facing the same issues on their side. They dont give you a company or gas cards , and you have to use your vehicle to commute and carry there material to site ,it's a overall bad company policy but they save money doing this an make more yearly. Don't do it trust me . I was laid off because my project manager failed due to the company limits an lack of foresight on his manager behlaf. They will blame you before the sale guys Andrew takes the hit, for unbidding the projects an the company's short staff and lack of knowledge . Oh and don't get hurt on the job even if it's there fault they will fire you. You will mess up there safely ratings. That's what they care about outpost. SAD..

Pros

Paid weekly, remote options depending on your department. CEO is good. The work is also very lax and easy. Company is growing

Cons

Really, honestly, the employees. So many tough guy types here, most notably the PMs. Also, the company claims to be a technology company when clearly most people have little idea about current technology and mostly have construction backgrounds. Also, the nepotism, so many people here are related...it's really bad, and shows no signs of slowing down. Their accounting systems are still old, still using Microsoft Great Plains when most companies have been using modern systems like Oracle or Netsuite for years. I will also say if you're not interested in sports, don't bother. It's all you'll hear about for 8 hours and not much else. Younger employees new to the workforce will also have a hard time due to the big generational gap. Nebulous requirements to be in office for almost no reason whatsoever and little work to do.
