      Pros

      NetApp has a great name, and good work/life balance. Vacation time is not bad too.

      Cons

      OCI quality management process is slow, and the tools used are outdated. Too much time is spent educating the manager as she lacks technical skills and always relies on someone to cover her up and do the work. Promotions these days are rare, and when a promotion happens, they are given to those that do not really deserve it. They are normally the people that kiss up to management. Culture has deteriorated greatly, and those that are able to probably already left. Those that are remaining are there only for certain reasons. Such an unprofessional work environment OCI has transformed into.

      Good company, management generally supports the employees, good work-life-family balance

      Cons

      Recent restructuring layoffs were random. NetApp recently went to a "laddering" evaluation system that relied too much on management perception and not facts.

      Great office location Collaborative team and coworkers with product resolution for customers Ongoing learning new technologies in the field DEI and options for more unique perspectives

      Cons

      NetApp has a tendency to have proprietary knowledge so it's difficult to confirm if this can translate well to other companies/industries While there is DEI and more the office can have a tendecy to have people state things that are flat out harmful to others this isn't covered and ignored Company has lots of layoffs and it's difficult to guage when this may happen and if you'll be impacted or not
