Pros

I have worked in NESS Digital Engineering for 2.7 years. It is employee friendly Organization and has a very flexible work environment, and NESS management understands the employee interests on career path as well. I was associated with one of the major clients (S&P, Product based) and NESS has ample number of clients across the globe. Overall, I felt like it is very good organization, I have worked on multiple organization but so far this is the best place to work. With my experience during my tenure with NESS. Personally I wanted to write these below points. So that people may be aware of it and plan accordingly. • Job Security -> 100% Job security, there is no fear in working with NESS as they have lot of clients and duration of the projects also will long-term, and worst case if project is completed, NESS management will keep you in another project with less efforts. They will be having lot of plans for us. • Support From Organization -> They are treating employees very well and its employee first company, they work on employees wishes and try to fulfill them. • Work Life Balance -> Peaceful work, no work pressure at all and Refreshment holidays (5 days in a year) from the Client will also be applicable for NESS teams. • Compensation -> NESS pays very well best in market I can say. And the hike which I got here, never seen before. I got good hikes with two-digit numbers and 100% happy with appraisal and salary revisions. • Carrier Growth -> Lot of external and internal trainings will be provided to the employees with industry best practices, and they do provide reimbursement for the certifications which we do external. • Flexible Work -> Employee can choose the work mode either work from home or office. Offices are opened, but its optional to come office. • Rewards and Recognitions -> I have seen that NESS was in top always to give rewards and recognitions to the employees whoever is applicable, there is no politics here. they give rewards and recognition based on the nomination and performance of the employee. There are so many reward types on Quarterly and Annual bases. we were happy with rewards 100%. Even I got recognized and got rewards 2 times. • Client Environment -> There is no difference between client and NESS employee and client very supportive to the employees all the way. They do take employees to their payroll based on the performance and need. • Festival Gifts -> NESS takes care of you and your family by sending the goodies to the employees for the festivals (Diwali, New year, Children’s Day etc.). My family is so happy with the gifts which i am getting frequently. • Management -> HR, IT, RMG teams and Managers will work with us closely and help us when ever we need help from them. They are just awesome I can say.

One of the worst jobs I have ever had. The recruiter promised me a range of salary and when it was time to actually land somewhere she did not offer what was discussed and low balled me. Told me I was greedy and I pushed back saying It's not what we discussed. I was able to lock in the low part of that range but then she does a bait and switch on me telling me the role is fully remote. Then I am being told and yelled at to come into a office when that is not what was discussed or in my offer letter. I had a manager who sat in another country and on day one of meeting them, they chewed me out for not going into a office when I already had pre- engagements before taking the job and let everyone know multiple times. It wasn't even a hello how are you, it was a full on yelling match at me, for not being in and if I have done this at "other companies". People I worked with did my job and kept over stepping and I couldn't do my role because a PM kept doing all the design work. Eventually, I say down with HR to voice concerns and decided to leave the role since its not what was promised or discussed. Awful company with awful people who will throw you under the bus at any point in time.
