Pros

The pay is good and the benefits are excellent. The culture has also been great up until this year. A lot is changing.

Cons

Hybrid requirements. The company is slowly adding additional days to the hybrid schedule. Not a lot of transparency. Culture is shifting.

Pros

Very friendly people, good work life balance overall, large employer in area, great bonus structure. Love their employee events. And they do really care a lot about their members.

Cons

Growth and advancement is not discussed, it's up to you to move your career forward. Promotions are awarded based on structural needs or optics, rather than merit. Roles and titles are very confusing in certain areas, it's difficult to tell what's lateral vs a promotion. People are hired for the same or similar roles with drastically different tenure and experience. Return to office keeps increasing and they are monitoring badge swipes like big tech. They care more about people sitting in cubes on Teams meetings than work output or your career momentum. Many people have been allowed to work fully remote until they became strict on policy and now they are enforcing strict compliance policies on only some but others are entirely excused. They are also sending threatening emails to adhere to in office mandates. Disappointed that of all employers they aren't recognizing work life balance, high gas prices and horrendous commutes in the DMV.
