10yThis really hurts to see. We go out of our way to take care of our employees and routinely make decisions that benefit employees at great expense to the company. One example is for 3 years running we have absorbed the vast majority of heath care cost increases instead of passing them on to our employees. Another example is in 2013 when the government shutdown occurred we immediately extended 40 hours, then 80 hours of negative PTO to our employees, rather than making them take leave without pay as many companies did. Our small business was founded and is run by people who have been line employees all their lives and we make every decision with great care and concern for the impact on employees. I don't know what issue this review was based on, but I do wish we had a chance to address this while this person was still with the business, we can only solve issues we know about.
