Great co-workers, beautiful mountain forest environment, meaningful guest interactions, chance to learn new skills and cross train for additional job roles, tremendous flexibility in scheduling days off.

Most employees are seasonal, thus few traditional benefits are provided (health insurance, retirement, etc.). Additionally, aside from summer and the autumn leaf season, available weekly work hours can be variable as guest numbers wax and wane.

Zipping through the air. The job of being a guide is fairly simple. You won’t need a gym membership after a month working.

Guides are over worked. If you are not friends with management, you will have a hard time. They don’t value feedback. Schedules are problematic, chaotic, and unpredictable. For a 15yr old company they still operate like they are still trying to figure out how to be a successful business, instead they are just surviving. No time for professional development/growth. Management is retaliatory if they get their feelings hurt.
