Pros

Reading these Glassdoor reviews encouraged me to write this post. I’ve been with TripActions for 2+ years. Truthfully, TripActions is an absolutely incredible place to work if you understand you are apart of a scrappy startup transitioning into a bigger company. We are still agile, learning daily from each other but as we scale we have to up level our processes and teams to accommodate our future growth. It’s tough as you have to sacrifice certain things (old reporting structures, comp/commission structures) as you scale but the same culture, mission based company is still alive and well. For me personally, I have loved being apart of every stage of TripActions growth. You learn SO much about how to scale through the different stages of the company and it’s business challenges/opportunities.

Cons

Truthfully, I don’t have many cons. I understood what I was signing up for when I joined. Not to sound harsh, but if you are someone who doesn’t want to take ownership/give feedback about your environment and how you might be feeling through the growth - you might not be happy here. We are scaling so quickly that things aren’t just given to you. You have to create the opportunities and make the effort. Not many companies allow for that type of autonomy in the workplace. Everyone is typically incredibly supportive of one another of ideas, suggestions as we all can feel the hyper-growth at times but you can't create a community/make things better when things are kept inside.

Pros

Competitive compensation and strong benefits package. The coworkers and frontline teams are one of the company’s greatest strengths many are incredibly hardworking, supportive, and committed to helping both customers and teammates succeed.

Cons

Significant operational gaps continue to impact efficiency and employee experience. Reporting systems and workforce planning frequently feel disconnected from the realities of day-to-day operations. Employees and leaders are often expected to be accountable for metrics without reliable reporting or clear guidance on how those metrics are measured. Workload distribution can feel inconsistent, creating an environment where some teams and managers become overextended while others are underutilized. This contributes to burnout, frustration, and a lack of confidence in operational decision-making.
