There are simply not enough people across key departments to handle the workload. As a result, employees constantly have to chase already overloaded colleagues, and then escalate to management to chase them. The management is overloaded, so you chase them again. This creates an endless loop of inefficiency and doubles the effort required just to complete basic tasks. It is frustrating and brings the burn out faster.
In over a year of employment, there has been no salary increase. While there is a bonus scheme, it lacks transparency and consistency. I once received a bonus that was 65% lower than the previous month with no explanation. In another instance, I was told I would receive my first bonus, only for it not to be paid, later dismissed with “it was your first quarter.” There is little accountability or clarity around compensation.
Burnout is common, and while there is strong empathy among colleagues because everyone is under the same pressure, that doesn’t make up for the chronic understaffing and stress.
Overall, the workload, lack of support, and inconsistent compensation make it difficult to recommend this workplace.
