The people who work in Government Relations are smart, young, and fun. Everyone else in the office is friendly and fun as well. The internship is paid, and only Monday-Thursday.
Cons
Would enjoy getting to travel to the Hill more often and interact with Congressmen. Intern work can become very slow when Government Relations team doesn't have projects.

Pros
A small, agile organization that has been able to rapidly increase its presence on Capitol Hill and expand internally. Leadership often gives freedom to explore new ideas and does not fall into old ruts of doing the same old thing.
Cons
Budgetary constraints can lead to a lack of resources at times. Leadership can have a difficult time communicating down to lower-level employees and organizational changes are not always handled in the most effective manner.
