Pros
Pay was good and co-workers were supportive because everyone had to deal with the chaos. Provided me with experience to put on my resume.
Cons
With a current job at another insurance company, I can now look back on my days at NGIC as the worst of my life. The daily grind was unbalance and it completely sucked the life out of me.I went from a joyous, ambitious person to a lifeless robot collecting a paycheck until I could fired. I think the main problem was that I didn't feel good about myself because what I was being told to do by the company did not live up to my ethical standards. This company actively seeker out reasons for denial and would do a material misrepresentation investigation on 90% of their claims. I had to basically accuse people of being liars before paying their claims. It was a work environment that made me dead inside and there was always a double standard for management favorites.
