Difficult to learn without a CTO or experienced senior engineers. Mid-level engineers want to kiss CEO’s butt instead of actually teach and help the team grow. Unclear why our business is special and what business team actually wants - something new every week with unrealistic deadlines that constantly add to existing loads of tech debt. CEO either unaware of or just doesn’t appreciate the work we do. Constant firings have created an uneasy work environment.
