Teacher is a difficult job, you have to love what you do.

Some great families attend and there are lovely and dedicated teachers. However, many certified and experienced teachers have left.

Many teachers lack experience which is hidden from parents. Many are teaching out-of-field. This list can be seen at the CCPS website. The hours expected are too much. No time for paid classroom set up. Planning time and duty free lunch are not respected. Team leaders over step and many times the team leaders are not experienced teachers. School does not adhere to state guidelines and bad-mouths public education. Students with IEPs or 504s often do not always receive required by law support. The overall atmosphere for teachers is stressful and it feels cult-like. If you are for DEI and are liberal leaning this school will not be a good fit for you.
