Have seen very smart talented colleagues go into a negative loop of demotivation and not living upto their real potentials. Primarily because of these reasons- High micromanagement and very less ownership, no efforts put towards developing a good team culture and ensuring team morale, and continuous demotivation/beating with no appreciation for any efforts.
