9yWe try to be upfront in our interview process that we are endeavoring to solve hard problems and are looking for a very select group of special people who are passionate and excited about solving tough problems and not those who are prone to complain about the effort or hard work that is often required in order to address global challenges. If these problems were that easy they would have been solved already.
We also appreciate that our fast-moving environment is not a good fit for everybody and that not everybody we hire "makes the cut" into a long-term core part of our team. We realize that we have a more sophisticated IP management infrastructure and IT/cybersecurity architecture than the average startup. Those who have been with our core team for years appreciate that this is critical for a hi-tech company to excel in a global marketplace and some of America's most sophisticated and successful companies have employed state-of the art IT and IP protection policies and infrastructure. As our HR infrastructure and middle management team grow we will endeavor to be more selective upfront and try to find those select individuals who deeply resonate with our underlying humanitarian mission and who have the best technical skills, aptitude, have a deep understanding of information and IP management in hi-tech industries and passion to solve challenging problems needed to drive the global impact we have set out to do.
