Pros
I met some very nice people who I hope to remain friends with, and I learned a lot about the SAS and HR markets which was interesting.
Cons
- The Company out and out lies to people during the hiring process so here is the truth as I see it and it is up to you to decide if you want to give it a shot - There is no upward mobility. - There is no unlimited vacation. - There is no real policy about anything..it all depends on the relationship you have with your manager. - There is a reorganization every two or three months where Matt, the CEO has a new and brilliant idea which of course changes the structure of the company. If you are useful you will survive a couple of them but eventually you will either be deemed talented and threatening or untalented and useless, frequently both. Code words will of course be used but that is it. - The benefits are pretty terrible. Just to be clear, there will never be a bonus or a 401k matching so negotiate your salary accordingly. - There is a monthly meeting where Matt Straz will say fashionable buzz words for an hour and then dinner is provided. Occasionally someone else will contribute some buzzwords. Go home unless you really have no idea what to have for dinner.
