Pros
NXTsoft takes good care of their employees and treats everybody with the utmost respect and professionalism. They always put their people first -- even during tough times like the covid-19 pandemic. For example, they initiated the NXTsoft Cares Program during the pandemic where employees could donate funds to assist individuals and families who were adversely affected by the pandemic. The CEO personally matched donated funds. The program went on to support a couple of employees, it provided scholarships to underprivileged and minority students at UAB, and it donated other funds to the Boys and Girls clubs of major cities where many employees reside. I appreciate that I can communicate directly with employees across the organization, share ideas knowing they will be received with open ears, and trust that my employer is there to work together with me. In my experience, the leadership team is talented, experienced, and they have a clear vision for the future of NXTsoft. My manager is more than a manager... They are a role model and a leader. I've built skills related to my profession during my tenure at NXTsoft, and I would say I have even grown as an individual for it. It is easy to work for an organization like NXTsoft when they have been so generous to me first. The insurance and benefits are great... but that's not the best part. The PTO is generous... but that's not the best part either. The people are amazing and that is what you will find is the best part of a career at NXTsoft if you join the team.
Cons
NXTsoft offers a wide variety of technical products and services. If you do not have industry experience then it can be difficult to see the "big picture," but don't worry! They provide lots of resources to learn about it. This last one is more of a personal opinion, but sometimes I feel like I would benefit from more critical/actionable feedback about my performance.
