Other than salary, no comment. Employee free to do whatever project or job scope that they want.
Cons
System is not established, still review about specs, even though many years in operation. No clear direction from management, this leads to rest of the non-directional career path. Employee waste a lot of time figuring out what to do, as they have weak leadership in the company. Constantly changing job scope making employee confuse about what is their actual role. Does not match skillset well with the hired employee. Overall very messy situation in the company !
