Pros
Multiple business units gives you multiple opportunities to move around and learn new skills and technologies. HR system is very open and earstwhile Freescale culture is still predominant in certain parts of the org, which is good for having a personal life. Plenty of intelligent engineers and business people to learn from.
Cons
After merger a large portion of FSL employees have lost morale. Constant layoffs are a part of the theme . Company appears to place more value on the bottom line than employees.
