Pros

The Charleston Division is an incredible group of professionals. NVR/Ryan Homes might be a large home builder, but here, you will feel like you are part of a family. The training is the best I've ever experienced. You will be supported in every way, as long as you are communicative and transparent with management. In turn, you will be expected to show up, conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times, and work hard. Your training will prepare you for success, and you will need to use what you learned. It works! You get one weekend off each month, which I never had with other builders. Sadly, I had to leave due to a move, and a position was not open in my new area so I could transfer.

Cons

I can't think of any

Pros

The pay is good, and the production level coworkers are awesome, some of the best people I've ever worked with,

Cons

Management is a complete joke. There is no communication, decisions that inhibit the team are made randomly and without warning, and the frontline employees are blamed for suffering production. Safety issues are not tended to promptly, and getting management to do anything at all will take a week minimum. The corporate structure of the company is toxic, and regular layoffs should be expected. Despite what the higher ups preach, quality is the last concern, and will be compromised the second efficiency isn't where it needs to be.
