      Pros

      NOV is a great place to work in Houston. The people are all very relaxed, and the training programs in place are thorough.

      Cons

      There is a lack of vision under the current CEO. The divisional Presidents are hit-or-miss. The leadership over Rig and Production & Completion run their groups well. The leadership over the different Wellbore Technologies groups lacks a strategic focus.

      Very work/life balance friendly. Very strong benefits package.

      Cons

      Very Siloed. NOV is the result of over 100 acquisitions and the fractured condition of systems and procedures is evident. Leadership is working on it.
