We’re really pleased to hear that your role helped you build your initial experience in insurance and sales, and that you were supported by a friendly team – that’s something we know makes a real difference early in someone’s career.
For anyone reading your feedback, it’s also helpful to clarify that NFU Mutual operates through a UK‑wide Agency Network, with each agency run by a self‑employed Agent. As each agency is an independent business they have their own approach to areas such as pay, working practices, training and day‑to‑day management. As you’ve highlighted, this can feel quite different to working within an NFU Mutual team.
That said, we’re sorry to hear that aspects of your experience didn’t meet your expectations. We want people across NFU Mutual and our Agency Network to feel trusted, valued and able to develop, so it’s disappointing to hear this wasn’t your experience.
