Pros
- I worked with a fantastic group of people who I am still in touch with even after I have left. - Uniform allowance. - Access to staff shops and 25% staff discount. - Opportunities to gain additional experience by being a 'Team Coach' or a 'Team Voice' - Provided me with good work experience alongside my university studies which helped me get a graduate job.
Cons
- Company has a high staff turnover due to the poor treatment of employees. - 'Man hours review' every April usuailly results in your hours being cut or changed. - Low hourly rate for the amount of work you are expected to do. - There is a need for you to be completely flexible in your approach to working hours, but you are offered nothing in return. - Extremely harsh disciplinary and sickness procedures which seem to be solely designed to get rid of staff (a friend of mine received a disciplinary on her return to work after she had been signed off sick with depression) - Morals of the company are questionable. - Little opportunity for progression within stores.
