Pros

One hour lunch if you're lucky.

Cons

One of the most unprofessional businesses I have ever worked at. Minimum training is giving to you and you are expected to know everything, if you don't know and ask any type of management they cannot give you an answer and direct you to the back office which they cannot give you a number or any direction to reach just another way of getting you out of there hair. Management lies to their customers about pricing so that they can buy from them and not even a month later are back in the store yelling about their bill is not what they expected and they say there's nothing they can do about it now but we'll take a look at it as if they are fixing it and will waste your time for hours. the manager will fall asleep on his customers lie to his customers and say that they need to turn in their phone for a special offer when in reality he is keeping the phone for his own personal use and then selling these phones sometimes even tablets. The phones and devices the customers actually have to turn in will go missing and they try to blame it on you so cover your back. Was offered $10 an hour during interview but then found out that it was only $8 an hour and the pay structure change. The pay structure is constantly changing and when you have questions about how it works no one can give you the answer. Don't let management help you at all with your transactions if you know what you're doing because they may type in one little thing or change one little thing and then split the commission 50% sometimes 70% with you even though you did all the work. Especially when a customer comes a customer comes in that you spoke with on your day off you can forget getting any credit for that. The service sucks in most areas surrounding the store customers often switch from other carriers to Sprint and shortly realize that their phones will not make calls where they are living. Cases like this or pricing not being right often cause returns and result and not hitting your monthly quotas which in return management is yelling and threatening you of your job because of their sucky service and pricing. If you have a problem try your best to make it into the store if you call over the phone and ask for the manager he will give you the runaround on multiple occasions hoping whatever your problem is you will not be able to fix it or run out of time for the return so they won't loose the sale. You don't get paid for overtime because the pay plan where you get commission and the possibility of down time as the district and regional managers put it. If you apply you are certain to get the job seeing as the interviews never lasts longer than 10 minutes and people with very little or no experience are hired. Incredibly High turnover. Very short-staffed because of the high turnover and new and old Associates not wanting to stay long. Constant complaints from customers that the store is always full of new people which makes it hard on the new Associates because new employees are training new employees. The manager has his favorites and will put sales and their names and not the other associates when he shouldn't be doing sales at all and splitting them because it is double dipping. You can be the only two and the store and they will still give the sale to someone who isn't working that day. Gives short and early morning shifts too the favorites and makes everyone else close and work long hours and weekends. Fairly easy to advance due to the shortage of employees. particular store and management are very sneaky I'm not sure about other stores but having honesty in valuing your customers is one thing that makes a difference and the way your store operates.

Pros

Managerial staff is very helpful and spends a lot of time training managers as well as retail staff. They like to promote within which is a big plus.

Cons

Never ending changes to the commission structure which gets annoying but other than that great company. Pay is a little under the rest of the industry but benefits and atmosphere outweigh the pay.
