Great pay, excellent benefits, friendly coworkers, caring superiors.

Commute time for those outside of King County, and some favoritism in the workplace.

Good job security for most and predictable hours. Some decent opportunities to advance from within, depending on your department and assuming you actually like working there.

The culture is incredibly stale. Not much diversity on staff, painfully conservative leadership, antiquated processes, innumerable meetings that should've been an email, disgruntled employees everywhere, bare minimum benefits, terrible pay for anyone below upper management, outdated views on most things, and an outright refusal to adopt new technologies, processes, or policies. I have witnessed firsthand, anti-LGBTQ sentiment from managers when they didn't know anyone was listening, and walked into VP offices to see downright offensive political messages on computers. They're also famous for horrific micromanagement of hours and scheduling, even for salaried employees. Zero flexibility when you need it most.
