Director also expects you to be available 24hrs bcs we work in retail. Unstructured Workflows: Instructions are often verbal or last minute, with 0 regard for standard operating procedures. You are expected to be an expert immediately without proper training or onboarding. Extreme Workload: One person is expected to manage the workload of an entire team. 5 mins deadlines are common for tasks that realistically take hours. Non existent Work Life Balance: Leaving on time is discouraged, and constant monitoring via internal messaging apps happens well after office hours. Benefits vs. Effort: The benefits do not match the level of burnout level effort required. No compensation for significant overtime. Salary: no bonus, no incremental, no allowance, basic salary below than market
