Pros
Easygoing co-workers, solid pay based on my experience, working with kids is always a fun prospect.
Cons
I'm not sure if it was specific to location, but from my experience; - Boss was lackadaisical and I was 95% sure he used marijuana on the premises, would show up here or there to criticize the current staff and then vanish - Did not receive correct remuneration on paycheck - Did not receive ANY formal training - wasn't even told how to clock in or get into the often locked building for weeks - To further expound on the lack of formal training, training at MyGym seems to consist of doing something consistently shift after shift, and only after the dozenth time are you corrected, as if expected to know the arbitrary procedures - Supplies were heavily lacking and we often had to use shoddy alternatives - Received NO schedule, was often told if I was coming in or not less than a day in advance - Had to write down my own shift times for the first 3 weeks and did not receive a punch in code, had to entrust boss with correcting my hours which was a futile effort ultimately - Environment was dirty and rundown on a level that a vacuum and spray down simply couldn't fix - Nobody ever had any clue what they were doing - Was not afforded breaks for long shifts
