Overworked - Marketing Designer MuteSix Employee Review

Lunar is bringing back aspects of the MuteSix when it was a top agency.

Still working through improvements and leadership.

The new parent company Lunar Solar Group has breathed new life back into MuteSix. We went from being a spoke in the corporate wheel at Dentsu to now being part of a boutique start-up environment. Our new CEO and executive team are transparent with business health and financials and constantly share new initiatives and upcoming tech projects. We also do A TON of trainings and information sharing among hte media teams. Something I heard was a big part of the old MuteSix but was not really happening at Dentsu. These have been really helpful and are really helping change our team culture. I'm excited to be part of an agency that has real business goals and is looking to grow.

The integration into Lunar was stressful with so many layoffs and terminations, especially for some key personalities that were part of the Dentsu version of MuteSix. But Pierson has shared with us exactly where our revenue needs to be, and I feel I'm more understanding of the business health leading to those cuts instead of just wondering if more will come. We're definitely in a phase of transition which has made bandwidth tight, but I know the social team is starting to hire more and I hope will lead to better work-life balance. The benefits are definitely not as good as Dentsu, but there have been some comments made about improving them this year.
