Pros
If you ever wanted to bear witness to a company slowly but methodically being death marched into nonexistence by comically incompetent management, then this is the perfect job for you.
Cons
*Cue Yakety Sax* No viable business plan whatsoever. They've been trying to launch a laughably outdated and unwanted product for over 3 years, promising everyone that it will save the company. It's like the iceberg's been hit a while ago but the CEO is trying to open a Wendy's on the lower deck. There is no strategy or direction - everything single day is a fire drill based on the direction Comcast farts in. No one grows in an atmosphere like this - employees are forced to abandon working mid-project to jump on something else that will inevitably be canceled or changed. And rather than address this, senior management cowardly denies any responsibility and instead blames the employees for subpar work. As the company has seeped further into its death spiral, senior management has grown increasingly paranoid and vindictive against the employees, verbally attacking anyone who they deem is "low meets." There is no consideration for the mental health and well-being of associates. On multiple occasions I had to endure the COO Zoom chat me to demean low-level employees who made mistakes. It was so unprofessional and just so so embarrassing to witness. There's no HR, as many have mentioned. All HR issues need to be taken up with the CEO and/or COO. *Cue Yakety Sax again* The majority of directors/upper management have no idea: a) How to manage their departments b) What their department actually does c) How or why they should stand up for their employees Morale is sweatshop level. Viewership is actually below that, which is impressive in its own right. People are leaving in droves. Its a race to see if the company can lose more users or employees by year's end. It's anyone's game.
