I should have known from the interview process what a joke this organisation was, I had 6 interviews and as soon as I was offered the position, I had a call (before I even started) from my manager at the time telling me that having a teddy bear in the background was unprofessional on webcam (there was a pandemic going on and I had no where to take calls and had to rush to kids room) ... hindsight is a wonderful thing, but at the time I just thought nothing much of it. I came into being told off for talking to anyone else but my manager, if I tried to network with others, again I was told off - especially if I wanted to talk to the CHRO or CEO. I was bullied into always turning on my webcam and if we didn't there was always an underhand comment being made about it, it was absolutely ridiculous. Management is totally unaware how to treat employees, they believe they are "HR" but really don't care about employee welfare. The technologies they use and the people they hire are amateurs, you have HR advisors who have become VPs of Talent within the same of 3 years ... seriously? People with far better experience and knowledge deserved those roles but anyone that sucks up to management or belittles others is promoted. Mundipharma is a cult, I have never in my career seen such a toxic and horrible place to work. I was oversold the role and then it miraculously changed and I was expected to just "see it through" - there was no clear guidelines.

Pros

Great team, great management. Excellent support to employees, good benefits program. Good path to further career development. Good pay.

Cons

High workload during busy periods. Can sometimes be left to deal with issues with limited help, but will help if issues still can't be resolved - have an escalation route in place.
