Pros
When I started working, there used to be some data science projects and I got great exposure. By the time I left, there was only dashboarding, data analytics and data engineering work left out, with people working on testing and web development projects too.
Cons
Because most employees cant leave if the environment is bad, there is no incentive for the company to have a good work environment. The break the bond, you will need lots of money which most 23 year olds don't have. The meaning of "learning over knowing" is that you will work long hours trying various solutions for which one will eventually work instead of getting properly trained by knowledgable people. This makes the following things wrong at Mu-Sigma; 1. No work life balance 2. Bad environment 3. No seniors to mentor you or guide you 4. Managers come from the same environment and are enablers of the system 5. Bad management 6. Dirt cheap salaries
