Pros
• Great coworkers at the hourly level, especially in Rout and Trim — they truly felt like family and always supported one another. • Strong relationships with union members, who were collaborative and professional. • Opportunities to learn about aerospace manufacturing processes and production tracking.
Cons
• Unfair Termination Practices: I was terminated for “time theft” based solely on gate entry data, without consideration of hours worked remotely. No opportunity was given to present proof of my work from home, and no progressive discipline or performance improvement plan was ever provided. • Lack of Training & Clear Policies: No formal training on timekeeping or remote work procedures was ever given. This led to confusion and inconsistent standards across salaried staff. • Toxic Leadership: Certain managers, particularly within manufacturing leadership, engaged in harassment, erratic behavior, and excessive surveillance of employees. Emails and documentation were frequently ignored, while public outbursts and accusations were common. • Discriminatory Patterns: Within the same week, multiple minority employees were also terminated. This raised concerns of targeted practices and lack of equal treatment. • Misuse of Company Resources: Leadership used company funds for alcohol purchases during team outings, while employees were criticized for much smaller issues. • Hostile Environment: Employee concerns about safety and harassment were often disregarded. Productivity was also heavily impacted by poor policies (e.g., extended smoke breaks after the removal of designated areas).
