Pros

The full time permanent employment opportunity that I was presented by Mphasis seemed to hold potential for good growth. I felt it may be a career making move. I wasn't looking for a new employer although I was open. Mphasis efforts in recruiting me were very intense and persistent and reassurring. After considering everything I resigned from the good position I had with Tata Consultancy Services to join Mphasis. The project I went to Mphasis to support was an interesting and important project. But, it failed. The management of the program was a disaster, The onsite manager was very derogatory and a bad leader. More of a "boss" type than a "leader" type. And, everyone on all the teams I engaged on site and offshore all suffered as a result. And, many lost their jobs.

Cons

I was laid off from Mphasis after just over 6 months of employment! The "bench" process is not sincere. And, then I also found out that if you resign from Tata Consultancy Services like I did you are not eligible for rehiring at Tata. Ultimately, my experience was very tragic. So, all I personally can say to potential new hires considering Mphasis for employment and to potential new clients considering Mphasis for project and program partnership and delivery is: DO NOT TRUST MPHASIS. Do not trust Mphasis to commit to you as an employee. Do not trust Mphasis to successfully deliver program results as a prospective client.

Pros

Exposure to enterprise-scale clients, modern cloud technologies, and opportunities to work on complex data and AI initiatives. Colleagues were generally professional and technically capable.

Cons

Employees supporting client engagements may encounter challenges when company-issued equipment, access, and operational processes are not clearly aligned. This can create unnecessary friction and delays.
