Great for work-life balance, but US-centric - Senior User Experience Designer Mozilla Employee Review

Pros

Work in the number of hours that better suits your life (ie. less than 40 hours a week), for products that make the Internet a better place to work and play, alongside people who always puts principle over profits

Cons

Air travels involved (2–4 times a year), flying to and from the US a lot of the time. International hiring has been a recent priority, so it will be interesting to see whether the “center of gravity” will shift elsewhere in the future.

Pros

Great health insurance benefits. Literally you pay nothing per pay check. Also parental leave is 6 months which is rare in the US. Wellness days were nice too.

Cons

Lack of black people in and promoted to senior / management positions even though there are many qualified people to be there. Also management cannot make decisions. They are leaps and bounds behind the competition and many lack competence.
