Pros

Amazing Quality of Engineers Interesting Platform Work that you can see impacting the world Cutting edge technologies.

Cons

Ridiculous overtime caused by terrible management of projects. No deadline adjustment ever, even when it's obvious it's unachievable. Managers grind engineers into to the ground to get marketing figures or demos that are unrealistic over creating high quality finished products. What little company culture remains is kept to old Movidius employees. So many Intel faces have entered the company at once that there is a harsh divide between old and new. New hires are not trained in the complex devices. Older engineers have no time to train them as they are so overloaded. Leixlip location move was terrible for almost all staff. Canteen is not great, and is comparable to prices in Dublin city. Movidius units now seen as cost centers and employees as a worked ID. Anything that isn't directly profitable isn't valued and Employee reviews are based on your paper profile. Intel's bureaucracy is everywhere and unavoidable.

Pros

Brilliant engineers in the team. Innovative product.

Cons

Chaos in the management. No transparency at all. Decisions are being making without anybody been asked. Many team managers are 'away' from their team members. In many cases, there's no communication and interaction. Heavy workload on managers make this miscommunication even larger. Management cares only how to promote and advertise the products rather than build good software and hardware. Bad decisions have been taken on many fields. Engineers feel secluded; they work in projects they have no idea about. High in the hierarchy people keep the information for their own. Acquisition from Intel brought a lot of bureaucracy and a lot of complaints that management doesn't seam to care about in fact they even promote this negativity for 'Intel culture'. Leixlip campus doesn't suit with Movidius' culture. Low salaries.
