Is this your company?

Re-enforced my opinion of ad-tech as slap-dash. - Anonymous employee Motive Interactive Employee Review

Pros

Very energetic crowd, good health benefits, the CEO seems to really care about everyone.

Cons

I felt like I only got silence in response to pointed questions about the direction management wanted to take the company, and I really got the impression that second-best work was okay unless it was going to sink the ship.

Pros

Very open to suggestions, stayed collaborative during shift to remote work, continuing to build and grow with the ecosystem

Cons

Lots of ups and downs, but that's with most companies

Pros

- Startup atmosphere - Happy hours and other team building events - Some flexibility in changing process (depending on your team) - Ability to learn the full lifecycle of mobile adtech - Great if you're in your twenties and are willing to forego some benefits to gain experience quickly - Little micromanaging - you can take a lot of initiative - The employees are fun to work with and knowledgeable - Beer fridge, team lunches, holiday events

Cons

- Culture stemming from upper management breeds competition within and across teams, holding back collaboration because everyone feels like they need to look out for themselves. - Communication at all levels and between teams, despite it being a "company value" - This is a sales company, even if they try to market themselves as a tech company. Just keep that in mind if you are coming in as a developer. Proper software architecture and planning may have to be put on hold for getting things out asap. - Lack of mentorship - self-learning can only take you so far, but there's no one to mentor you to the next level - No matching 401k or company equity - Dependent benefits are horrible (paltry spouse life insurance, employee responsibility for monthly premiums for dependents) - No consistent schedule for promotions or raises - Yearly bonuses are replaced by a little tech gadget or a gift card
