it's sales - Senior Recruiter Motion Recruitment Employee Review

Pros

The training here is unmatched. not only will you learn recruitment and sales, but a foundational business skillset in general. I've seen a lot of people leave Motion to high up positions in top companies. It's also really fast paced so there won't be a day you have nothing to do, so if you get bored easy or complete work quick, you won't be sitting around for the next 5 hours clicking tabs. You will always have direct access to mentors and management so you get really tailored coaching to whatever you are working on

Cons

This wasn't my first sales job out of college so I think my perspective is different than a few reviews that are struggling with sales and/or first job out of college in general. The role is 4 days a week onsite and pretty intense so if you are not up for cold calling to build out your own clients this isn't for you (or any outbound sale role in general tbh). Can take awhile to get to commission, but I have been in roles where it was 100% commission right away without knowing how to sell which led me to making zero money. Sometimes management can be a little intense and borderline non HR friendly, but for the most part they do care about getting you good at the job. just depends if your personality is ok with the intense culture. Entry level sales is not for everyone

Pros

Easy interview process. Recruiter worked for me and wanted to see my get the job.

Cons

Only con was it took a while to finally start the job, but that wasn't Motion's fault.
