Business outlook
Pros
Plant-level people work very hard, and care about their work very much. Sales team is very active, and communicates back to other departments very well. Have extensive version of SAP that will be very helpful once the bugs are worked out.
Cons
Marketing side is weak, and doesn't take advantage of great brand recognition. Advertising budget is non-existent, won't spend money to make money. Supply Chain team doesn't have cross-functional understanding of their full range of responsibilities. Company buys outside talent, and doesn't develop internal talent from the bottom up well enough.
