Pros

Mary Washington Health Care from times to times steps in to make things better. Like having Morrison increase employees pay.

Cons

Always short on help but still wouldn't let employees work more hours especially since MWHC forced them to pay more , $ 15.00 an hour instead than the $ 11.50 they were paying. So now they expect the employees to work more and more to make up for the employees who quit . They keep serving the same food over and over again without changing the menu. Almost every day chicken, broccoli, minestrone soup, steamed rice and stuff like that. There is a high turn over . They also favor black employees giving them more hours than others (but rarely overtime) and whom they treat more kindly. Lots of stress and little pay.

Pros

flexible schedule. unlimited PTO. never a shortage of work. if you work for a unit with a good manager, that's all you need,

Cons

the flexible schedule is also a con. they call you at 6 am and 11 pm about things that can absolutely wait. the unlimited PTO is also a con, they do this so they don't have to pay you out when you leave or remove you, they also don't really let you take off as much time as you want. upper management, the VPs and DPs are nightmares. terrible people that are totally disconnected from the mission and the "corporate culture." they push acceptance at the unit level, and then upper leadership doesn't listen to it at all. The VPS and presidents like to take the CEO out drinking and they all love to party.
