Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts about Morningstar and our unique culture. You’re right, we’re a very mission-driven organization and most here find great energy and inspiration in our objective of helping investors achieve their financial goals.
As you noted, operating a global company has it’s many challenges, including effective information-sharing and coordinating time zones, but it also opens doors to opportunities and experiences like international assignments. And, of course, it also gives us the platform to achieve our mission on a global scale.
I appreciate your advice and I agree that preserving our culture is critical to continued long-term success. We’re doing a lot more these days to understand and monitor team members' perceptions of our work culture so that we can nurture what already makes us special and identify areas for improvement.
