Pros
My experience at Years has been nothing but positive, particularly in a hands-on NPD role where I’ve been trusted to take full ownership of projects from concept through to launch. It’s a fast-paced environment that offers real responsibility and the opportunity to make a tangible commercial impact.
Over the past 6 months, I’ve delivered 20+ product launches across key seasonal moments and new ranges, while gaining exposure across the full product lifecycle – from supplier sourcing and costings through to trials, artwork, marketing and launch. This has been invaluable for my development both technically and commercially.
There are strong opportunities for growth, with continuous support from managers and the wider team. You’re encouraged to build your skillset, take on more ownership and develop confidence in both technical and commercial areas.
The team is highly collaborative, working closely across Marketing, Ops, Design and Supply Chain, with a shared focus on delivering the best outcome for the customer. It’s also a mission-driven company with a real passion for innovation, where new ideas and continuous improvement are genuinely encouraged.
As with any fast-growing business, there are still opportunities to strengthen processes and structure, but it’s clear these are being actively improved.
Overall, it’s a great place to grow, take ownership, and be part of a passionate, ambitious team.
Cons
The pace can be intense, particularly around key seasonal launches, so it requires strong organisation and resilience to manage multiple priorities.
