Pros

Helpful colleagues, sense of belonging within immediate teams

Cons

No acknowledgment of efforts and work done here, appraisals are a joke. HR will lowball salary, little to no increment. Senior management seems to be living in their own lalaland, will set unrealistic KPIs and get passive aggressive if staff speak up with valid concerns or criticism. No accountability is held when SOPs are changed at whim, and operations are always at a bottleneck. The environment is one of the worst, like a typical SME despite the company being part of a listed group. I am appalled by the nerve of management to preach about trust in this company when they cannot seem to respect their own staff. The CEO is also another kind, will not take feedback from others unless they stoke his ego. Will bring in “friends” from who knows where and play favourites like in kindergarten. An emotionally constipated man who will throw tantrums and walk out of important meetings when people point out flaws to his insights. (Also, what kind CEO is so free to sit at reception to time people coming into work??) This is a hostile workplace of their own making, come here only if you want to be devalued and your confidence shattered.

Pros

A good place to learn what poor leadership looks like in practice and why many employees eventually stop speaking up altogether.

Cons

It is not an exaggeration to say that working here can seriously impact your mental well-being. What is most concerning is that despite the alarming turnover rate, there appears to be little accountability or meaningful intervention from leadership. In a single month alone, around 9 employees resigned, with approximately 13 leaving year-to-date. At what point does this stop being “normal turnover” and start becoming a serious organizational red flag? There is an extremely unhealthy culture of favoritism, inconsistent treatment, and deeply unprofessional leadership behavior. Certain individual(s) particularly those personally favored by management appear protected regardless of performance or mistakes, while others are subjected to disproportionate criticism, emotional reactions, and passive-aggressive treatment. A significant amount of time and energy is also spent creating special arrangements and exceptions for these favored individuals. The company increasingly operates based on personal preferences rather than professionalism, structure, or accountability. “Friends” are brought into the organization, decisions are made impulsively, changes are implemented without proper foresight, and when those decisions eventually create operational problems months later, accountability becomes almost impossible because the people responsible may have already left the company. There is a constant culture of deflection rather than ownership, creating fear, frustration, and deep resentment across teams. Many employees are exhausted, demoralized, and afraid to speak openly. Even when concerns raised are truthful and valid, they are often met with passive-aggressive responses, emotional retaliation, or subtle hostility from leadership. While there may be claims of being “unaffected,” the reality is often very different. Over time, this completely erodes trust and psychological safety within the organization. I could list countless examples of leadership behaviors that negatively affect morale and workplace culture, but the core issue is simple: employees here do not feel respected, psychologically safe, or genuinely valued. For anyone considering joining — dont
